Hi there, thank you for visiting! We are Missy Horvath and Travis Imhof, building a legacy homestead for our family in Canadensis, PA. We educate on homesteading lifestyles, and offer locals hobby farm design services, supplies, and resources to create a sustainable homestead.Missy and Travis are Pennsylvania natives who grew up hunting, processing wild game, gardening, working on farms, and caring for pets and livestock. Hobby Farm Services

Missy's Dad and her Pop Pop introduced her to gardening at seven years old . She worked for a seed corn company and as a dairy farm hand during her high school years, and is an experienced veterinary technician. Missy has raised chickens from egg to laying hen since 2009, while living in a forested area with wildlife and high predator presence (deer, bear, raccoons, possums, foxes, coyotes, and birds of prey). She specializes in predator protection to help secure your small livestock.

We were given all of the tools to aid us in successfully raising hens:  informational books, resources, safe living quarters, proper organic nutrition and equipment.

Wild Game Skull Mounting

Travis began hunting and trapping wild game in the Pocono Mountains at age 12 - he is a successful archery, rifle, and muzzleloader subsistence hunter, harvesting deer, bear, wild boar and coyotes. Travis is an avid trapshooter and reloader, and preserves wild game skulls. Please click below for European skull mounting fees.
